Welcome to the Private Gynecological clinic in Hiroo

I have been involved in gynaecological practice, specialising in gynaecological oncology and surgery for many years. I have also conducted research on the importance of the HPV vaccine at Osaka University and National Cancer Center. I recognise just how important health promotion, and preventive medicine are in contributing to the long term health of my patients.

With all of this experience I am opening my clinic in Hiroo and am committed to offering outstanding clinical opportunities for women’s health. I will always provide patient centred care (not disease centred) with compassion and understanding. We will offer less invasive, advanced, and comprehensive gynaecological care to meet women’s health and wellness needs for every phase of life.

Focusing on the impact your health and quality of life, we offer treatment and support for:

  • Precancerous lesions of cervical cancer(pap smear, colposcopy)

  • Cancer (including postoperative follow up),

  • Endometriosis, adenomyosis, uterine fibroids,

  • Abnormal menstruation (amenorrhea, menorrhagia, dysmenorrhea, PMS),

  • Menopause

  • Examination(US, pap smear, blood test),

  • Vaccination (HPV vaccination, Influenza, MR, COVID-19 etc),

  • Pill (including morning after pill)

  • Preventive care including contraception & birth control.

Our goal is to partner with each woman in shared decision-making. We will empower you/your loved one with knowledge, support, and the most effective treatment options for longevity and quality of life.

 Facility

 Contents and fee

A consultation fee is required for each visit, including explanation of test results,
regardless of whether or not tests are performed. Test results are not sent by post or email.

We accept many patients from various countries and Japanese health insurance is accepted.

If you have a Japanese health insurance card, please understand the following in order to ensure appropriate insurance treatment.

Japanese health insurance policies stipulate that contraception, pregnancy, vaccines and asymptomatic annual check-ups are not covered.
The Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) considers medical interpretation and translation to be "services and the like not directly related to medical treatment benefits" and collects the costs of such services separately from the insurance portion of medical treatment. In other words, please note that the Japanese health insurance does not provide special support for the transmission of non-Japanese medical terminology (https://www.mhlw.go.jp/file/05-Shingikai-12404000-Hokenkyoku-Iryouka/0000110785.pdf).
So a separate English consultation fee is charged for people with Japanese health insurance who are not native speakers of Japanese and have difficulty communicating medical conditions or technical terms in Japanese (as determined by the doctor), or who wish to be seen in English (initial consultation: 3,300 yen, follow-up consultation: 1,650 yen).

In consideration of our other patients, 15 minutes for the initial visit and a maximum of 10 minutes for the follow-up consultation.

If you would like to have an examination without symptom or if you don’t have Japanese health insurance (having private insurance), you need to show your credit card or pay in advance before having consultation. In addition to ¥20,000 as a medical consultation fee for a specialist, an examination fee (ex. Ultrasound, pap smear, blood test e.t.c) is required.
